Psychotherapy:
Ru Nataraj is a passionately dedicated trauma therapist (ages 18 and up), with a special emphasis on exploring and understanding racial trauma. Alongside her commitment to racial trauma, Ru effectively handles issues related to PTSD, attachment, self-esteem, occupational stress, anxiety, life transitions, and relational difficulties. She also has a special interest in the dynamics of parenting and co-parenting.
Trained in diverse modalities like DBT, CBT, ACT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Gottman Level 1, Motivational Interviewing, and IFS, Ru adopts a dynamic, strengths-based approach that is tailored to each client’s unique journey. She is currently undergoing EMDR training and will be starting EMDR sessions in the coming months.

Service facilitation:
As a service facilitator, Ru collaborates closely with clients to identify and prioritize their personal goals. She is dedicated to fostering a growth mindset and empowering clients to enact the changes they desire in their lives. Her aim is to create a supportive, empathetic, and safe space conducive to exploration and healing. Believing strongly in a process that is driven by the client’s strengths and values, Ru focuses on building emotional well-being and resilience.
